It's been a while...

Wow, it's been awhile.

I guess I need to start off by apologizing to myself for being lazy about not coming on here. The whole reason for starting this was for me to have an outlet. I am now vowing to be better at this and visit more often. I think there are three reasons for this. 1) I really need to be true and honest to myself. 2) A new year is about to start. I can't believe how quickly it's gone and how little I've accomplished. 3) Reading the blogs of others is very inspiring to me. It seems they are able to find comfort and resolution. I'm hoping to find it within myself but also through friends I may make online.

Let me tell a little about myself. I'm a Kansas girl who is now living in Hawaii. I am happily married and have a wonderful stepson living with us. I'll get into it more at a later date but his mother is not an easy person to deal with. I can't tell you exactly what I do for a job, but I can say that I work in an office. Unfortunately it's not as funny as The Office, but we have some characters here! I'm on a self discovery mission. Even though I feel I have a happy life I feel like I've lost a big part of me somewhere. I'm hoping that by posting here and just getting my thoughts out I can examine some things, learn to do somethings different, and learn to accept some things.
